Volunteer for the BDD Foundation
Can you help the BDD Foundation in any way?
We currently seeking volunteers to help:
- Media Database Volunteers: For people that are willing to join our database and willing to speak to journalists, or go on radio or TV. Please specify which media would be suitable for you.
- Setting Up New Support Groups : For people wanting to start BDD support groups in their own local area. For this option please email Kiera at OCD Action firstname.lastname@example.org or call Rachael on 07795395722. They will be able to assist/advise and support you in how to do this.
- Volunteer Co-ordinators.
- The BDD Foundation partners with OCD Action in supporting BDD suffers. OCD Action will provide training and guidance and has a range of volunteer roles where support for BDD suffers is needed. Please consider volunteering for them in the capacity of:
1. Helpline Volunteers
2. Advocacy Volunteers
3. Youth E-Helpline

We are particularly keen to recruit volunteers who have had experience of BDD or have been a carer for someone with BDD.
If you wish us to add your name to a database of volunteers we can call upon in the future, please do get in contact. We are always grateful for any support people may be able to offer us.
We are currently approaching a number of patrons who we hope will agree to support us and will list them here.
